The Artist
My name is Laura Sharp
Hi, I'm Laura. I studied Fine Art at university before becoming a primary teacher. Since then, life has taken me in many different directions — raising two wonderful children, working part-time for the Ambulance Service, and balancing family life — but I've always returned to making art, supported along the way by my husband and family.
Now, I'm spending more time developing my creative practice and pursuing my lifelong ambition of becoming a professional artist. Living by the coast inspires much of my work, with the sea shaping my palette, textures, and the sense of calm and reflection I hope my paintings evoke.
